TAGÜR EXHIBITION OPENING
TAGÜR Footwear launched its 2006 line of products at the Firehouse Gallery on Downtown Burlington's historic Church Street. The only thing more unique than the snowflakes falling outside the gallery's walls were the custom sneakers that adorned the field of lighted pedestals. TAGÜR's AKA Blank models were used as canvasses for both established and upcoming international artists. Patrons of the exhibition bidded on several of the shoes, starting at $80. DJ ADog and DJ Russell provided the soundtrack for the evening while RedBull, MagicHat Brewery and The Opus Grill kept the spot well lubricated. The gallery reached capacity twice during the evening and welcomed several hundred visitors.

TAGÜR hit the streets and open market in Dec 2005 and in that time of only one year the movement has received much attention and praise. We are aware that there are other magazines and media outlets that have shed light on the company and vision in addition to the ones listed.

However, displayed are the magazines that we have directly worked with to show our base and fans to come how rapidly and far reaching the movement has grown; penetrating the minds and spirits of those with something to express and also those who are becoming sick of the cookie cutter brands with identical blueprints and weary of the major corporations with their multi-million dollar ad campaigns for "limited" mass production and "artist series".

We are artists and we built TAGÜR not for an artist series rather a series of artists! TAGÜR provides you with a new canvass to express yourself on such as we do. TAGÜR sets the stage you rock the mic.

TAGÜR continues to grow and gain global recognition. Through our travels, interviews, networking, promoting etc... we have met many righteous people who value the vision and wish to show their support and encourage you to support TAGÜR as well.
